Algerian media outlet Competition.dz has
accused Ghana of breaching CAF regulations by
refusing to allow their journalists to cover the
first 15 minutes of the Black Stars training
session at the Stade Municipal Mongomo on
Sunday.
According to the complaint of the Algerian
journalists, they were shocked when Ghana FA
Communications Director Ibrahim Sannie Darra
informed them that they could not observe any
part of the work-out since it was going to be a
tactical session.
The Competition.dz reporters further claimed
that the Ghanaian officials relied on security
officers, accompanying the Black Stars, to
dismiss them following their persistent attempts.
Coach Avram Grant and the Black Stars held
their final training session in Mongomo on
Sunday prior to their AFCON 2015 Group C opener
against Senegal today.
