Juventus will look to move for Chelsea
midfielder Ramires if Manchester United
agree to meet the €90 million asking price
for Paul Pogba, reports Gazzetta dello Sport.
The Turin club are ready to cash in on the
French midfielder in order to fund a squad
rebuilding project. Pogba is one of the most
sought after footballers in the world and
would be worth a substantial amount in the
transfer market.
Pogba, 21, is already regarded as one of the
finest midfielders in world football
regardless of his young age. He won the
award for best young player at this summer's
World Cup as well as the Golden Boy award
last year.
It has been tough for Manchester United
fans to see Pogba flourish away from the
club he learnt his trade. The France
international quit Old Trafford in 2012 over
a reported pay and/or playing time dispute
with Sir Alex Ferguson.
However, it seems a return to Manchester
United is in the pipeline as Louis van Gaal is
one of the only managers in the world who
could afford the €90 million asking price.
Only Real Madrid could compete with them
and still fall in line with Uefa's financial
fair play regulations.
