I DIDNT ABUSE ESTHER SMITH-HUSBAND SPEAKS

According to Pulsegh, Pastor Ahenkan, the ex-
husband of multiple award-winner gospel
musician, Esther Smith has finally denied claims
that he physically and emotionally abused singer
during their marriage of four years. Esther
Smith has claimed that she was abused by the
‘man of God’ in several interviews in the past.
Pastor Ahenkan, who is now in Ivory Coast for
pastoral duties,said he married Esther Smith
because of love not for any other reasons.
According to him, their marital problems started
when he bought panties for their ‘house help’
which he said was an innocent act of
appreciation for the young girl. The incident
then generated to other trust problems. Esther
Smith had three children with him but according
to Pastor Ahenkan, Esther Smith left one of the
children for him during a visit and she has not
had any form of contact with that child since.
He added that the singer has also denied him
of contact with the other two children.
Pastor Ahenkan, who was speaking on the Peace
FM Entertainment Review show, said that indeed
they had problems in their marriage as every
marriage does but did not cheat on his wife with
any church member, or physically assault his
wife of four years and the mother of his
children. On Esther Smith’s recent marriage,
Pastor Ahenkan says he wishes her well. He also
pleaded with the gospel to check on her child in
Ivory Coast, and also allow him to have contact
with his other two children in Ghana.
