Asante Kotoko coach David Duncan believes the use of Mitre balls for domestic football affects Ghanaian clubs when they go out for international competitions.

The Ghana Football Association uses Mitre balls for the league and other local competitions but Adidas ball are used in CAF and FIFA competitions.

This seems to have affected Kotoko who lost 2-1 to Libyan side Al Ittihad Tripoli in an international club friendly on Wednesday.

Duncan took to Twitter to complain: "I think the FA should reconsider the use of MITRE footballs in our local game. Why ain't we using balls used in all international matches?."
