Bafana Bafana head coach Shakes Mashaba has made three changes to the side that will face Cameroon in a 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban on Tuesday evening.
South Africa held the Indomitable Lions to a 2-2 draw in Limbe this past weekend, with goals from Tokelo Rantie and Hlompho Kekana earning Bafana Bafana a point.
An already fragile defence will have a new look about it, with Sifiso Hlanti set to make his debut in place of the injured Thabo Matlaba at left back. Rivaldo Coetzee will reignite his partnership with Erick Mathoho, and with Anele Ngcongca ruled out with a calf muscle strain, Thulani Hlatshwayo moves to right back.
Thulani Serero, who came off the bench in Limbe, takes the place of the injured Mpho Makola, with Andile Jali, Kekana and Mandla Masango keeping their spot in the starting XI.
Rantie and Thamsanqa Gabuza will lead the attack once again.
There are also several changes on the bench, with Jackson Mabokgwane, Siyabonga Nhlapo, Asavela Mbekile, Kamohelo Mokotjo and Ndumiso Mabena named among the substitutes.
Cameroon are sure to make changes to their staring XI, with Vincent Aboubakar set to return having served a one-match suspension.
For South Africa the game is a must win - failure to do so will most definitely end their chances of qualifying for next year's tournament in Gabon.
