Medeama SC president Moses Armah has threatened to report Kumasi Asante Kotoko  to the Ghana FA and FIFA for illegally approaching the club's tactician Tom Strand
The Tarkwa based club are eager to keep their Swedish trainer until the expiration of his contract which runs out later in the year.
Medeama are incensed with Kotoko's clandestine move to lure the 33-year-old away from the club without recourse to his current employers.
According to Ghanasoccernet.com,top officials of the Porcupine Warriors have held 'secret talks' with the European tactician over a possible move but even with the constant denials from Kotoko,Tom Strand claimed to have resigned from the club on Tuesday thereby fuelling reports of his move soon to the Ghanaian giants.
Medeama president Moses Armah has threatened Kotoko with an official complaint over the illegal approach for his coach.
"If they (Kotoko) want to sign him, all they have to do is to come and discuss because he has a contract with us," he told GHANAsoccernet.com
"I hope to do something about it because it's unfair and unsettling.
"They should stop the negative influence and come forward if they want him.
"It shows lack of respect. It doesn't matter who you are; you must respect the rules.
"The era where players and coaches were tapped illegally are over. What is the move intended to achieve?
"Such tricks won't work in this modern era. If they want him or any team for that matter, they should come and buy him out of contract.
He fumed: "We are not going to let this lie down. The right thing will be done."
