The Professional Footballers Association of Ghana (PFAG) have sent a soliditary message to the Black Stars to shine again and bring back the smiles on the faces of Ghanaians as they continue the journey to bring back the Afcon trophy home.

The message signed by General Secretary Tony Baffoe says that PFAG is counting on the strong support of Ghanaians and handlers of the Black Stars to go for victory, urging fans to be measured in their expectations but chant and cheer the players on.

“The Black Stars players recently graced the launching of the 'Life after Football Fund and Insurance Scheme' of the PFAG few days ago and we could clearly see our players are ready for the match.

Concentration, dedication and focus remain the key elements and our players as expected will surely rise to the occasion and defeat Mozambique in the  Afcon qualifier for Gabon 2017 at the Accra Sports Stadium," the statement read.

The statement finally wished the players well especially those recovering from injuries hoping that Ghana will collect the maximum 6 points from the double header.

Ghana and Mozambique will honour the return match in Maputo three days after the Accra match.
Ghana lead Group H with 6 points and in the same group with Rwanda, Mauritius and Mozambique.
