Secretary in charge of Sports and Culture at the Japanese Embassy, Masa Iida says Hearts of Oak coach Kenichi Yatsuhashi's exploits in the Ghana League will open opportunities for more Japanese coaches.

To him, Kenichi Yatsuhashi is making the Japanese community in Ghana very proud and reports they are gathering from Japan is that many more coaches are set to invade the local football landscape.
Masa Iida who was at the Accra Sports Stadium to support Hearts in their opening day clash with New Edubiase United hinted that very soon both Japanese coaches and players will be seen in the Ghanaian league.

“We are very hopeful of that. Very soon we are sure that many Japanese coaches will take advantage of what Kenichi is doing now and also come to Ghana,” Masa Iida told GHANAsoccernet.com exclusively.

He added that Japanese football is now at the developing stage and their players are now moving out to the rest of the continents to ply their trade and Ghana is obviously another destination.
”Our players are now moving out to play football in other countries like Germany, Spain and England.

And with what Keni is doing here, we believe that he is opening the doors for Japanese players too to come to Ghana and play soon,” Iida added.
