The Professional Footballers Association of Ghana have launched a fund for retired footballers and an insurance scheme for active players.
The ceremony was held at the Alisa Hotel in Accra on Monday night.
This initiative is to ensure that players in the domestic top-flight get the needed indemnity to enjoy the game.

Stars captain Asamoah Gyan and his teammates who are in town to prepare
for Thursday’s 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Mozambique.
