Ghanaian highlife artiste Kwabena Kwabena has revealed his long standing admiration for New Edubiase United insisting he was startled when the club nearly pulled out of the league.
Despite Kotoko and Hearts commanding huge fan base in the country, the music heavyweight insists the Yenko Nkoaa Boys have won his love for long and he doesn’t want them to be out of the elite division.
“I was shocked when I heard the President Salam Yakubu saying they are pulling out of the league. I was really startled,” Kwabena Kwabena revealed.
Salam Yakubu had publicly announced his side was pulling out of the league due to bad officiating but later reconsidered his decision.
Kwabena Kwabena advised that pulling out of the league isn’t the best option, rather the club must be well organised to attract sponsorship from cooperate Ghana.
He then called on the FA to bring musicians on board to help in seeking for sponsorship for the league.
The Bekwai-based side is currently languishing at the bottom of the Ghana Premier League table with thirteen matches to end the season.
